The Halifax Art Festival is a premier annual event in Central Florida presented by the Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences in partnership with Bank of America.

 

The 54th Halifax Art Festival has risen in attendance and notoriety to become one of the most prestigious festivals in the Central Florida area. As, the second oldest continual festival in the state of Florida, the Festival is known for its elegance of venue and variety of affordable art.

This Festival is free to the public and will take place on November 5 & 6, 2016.  The City closes traffic on Beach Street for the festival which attracts approximately 35,000 visitors to view the works of over 200 fine artists and artisans from all over the country.

The Festival has expanded to celebrate seasoned as well as emerging artists and craftsmen.  There are two distinct exhibit areas.  The Fine Arts & Fine Crafts area is juried, judged and eligible for over $35,000 in prize money and Patron Awards.  The Crafts area is juried but not eligible for award money.  Art work in both areas are original creations and available for purchase.

A Great Location and a Terrific Crowd!

 

The Festival is located on historic Beach Street between the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach and the Halifax River.  The City closes Beach Street on Friday at 3pm for easy off loading.  Plenty of free parking for cars and trailers. The location is easy to reach from I-95. (MapQuest:  International Speedway Blvd & Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Florida)
