WE'RE BACK... AFTER TWO YEARS...

After a long two years or dealing with COVID19, it is official... we are having the 2022 Appalachian Festival!! It’s finally time once again to celebrate Appalachian Heritage at Cincinnati’s most popular spring-time event! There have been a few changes since we have been gone. The first big announcement is The A.C.D.A. Board of Trustees has decided to hold the event for TWO days only this year - Saturday, May 7th, and Sunday, May 8th!

Our goal is to keep this tradition alive and growing, so we decided during this time it was best to hold off on our Education Day for school children until 2023. This means you will be able to set up on Friday, May 6th

Coney has been busy at work rearranging their layout and landscaping. Therefore, our layout is also evolving for this year as well. We’re moving our main gate to the east side of the park, and in order to make sure you get the exposure you deserve; everyone will be in a new location to help drive people to your booth.

A TERRIFIC LOCATION ON A GREAT WEEKEND...

It’s one of the world’s finest outdoor Mother’s Day shopping experiences -- nearly 100 crafters from different areas feature the finest in mountain handicrafts. Crafters will display their goods, such as hand-made quilts and clothing, furniture, pottery, metal sculptures, dried flower arrangements, hand-crafted jewelry, children's toys, leather goods, stained glass, musical instruments, baskets, handmade dolls, and more. A talented collection of fiber arts specialists in weaving, drop spinning, braiding, and loom work will also be on hand making and selling their masterpieces.
